As a musician I've been fortunate to have worked with and learned from many great producers such as Ronan Chris Murphy, Steve Lillywhite, Toby Right, and others. It's never the same thing over and over. I actually have to use my brain to problem solve as well as draw off of different experiences to get a job done. I get to do a lot of different stuff everyday with it. That's part of what I love about producing. I work out of my home studio a lot to keep costs down when I can and then also work out of different rooms around town tracking drums or mixing when the budget is there. All of which present unique challenges to pull off. Bigger budgets, smaller budgets, loud albums, quiet albums, rock albums, jazz albums, full bands, and individual artists. Another goal is to make the whole process creatively inclusive, fun, and enjoyable for everybody involved. I try to draw on my experience to find the best way to record and present a song or group of songs while always working with and and hopefully adding to an artist's vision of what they should be. Wheather producing or playing I've been a part of making hundreds of albums and they're all done completely differently. Much like my approach to playing, I try to make songs and albums true and real to what each individual song and album is. I am fortunate that now I get to record and produce albums for other people.

From what I know about the dude his songs (especially Cougar Hunt and I Got A Band) depict the strange life of Richie Aldente with vivid realness.I started learning how to record when I was 17.

I feel compelled enough to write about it. I believe Richie Aldente has harnessed this power for a beautiful good. Four on the floor unlocks our hearts and the dance floor and that should not be abused. Any one who has seen the Daft Punk collaborator videos knows that dance music is heading backwards. In an era where any teenager with a laptop is Tiesto it makes me feel better to know that dance musicians that know what they are doing still exist. Richie didn’t take the easy way out because he did not want to take the easy way out.

It’s an album free from loops or cop-outs. Timmy Aldente recorded For the Ladies on a 4-track before overdubbing drum and bass parts and it comes across in the music.
I respect these guys for their work ethic but moreover their artistic integrity. The painfully funky and impeccably constructed “Give it to the DJ” should be enough for any record executive to give them a billion dollar contract A$AP ROCKY style. When I first heard Richie Aldente a little less than a year ago I knew they had something.
